GOP Strategist Calls Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez a “Little Girl” and The Internet Was Not Having It

Here’s a great mandate for 2019: zero f*cking tolerance for misogyny in all its forms. Ever since Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez won the NY-14 representative seat, the GOP and its angry white male army have lost their damn minds. They have attacked AOC for a variety of reasons, including dancing while happy, wearing a jacket, and living paycheck to paycheck. How dare she!

Now, GOP strategist/Old Man Yelling at Cloud Ed Rollins has referred to AOC as “the little girl” with the “mouth” in an appearance on the Fox Business show Lou Dobbs Tonight. Sidebar: what is Fox Business’s business? Is it racism and misogyny from ancient white guys? If so, business must be booming.

AOC was quick to clap back in her signature thoughtful and funny style, tweeting:

Let’s just be clear: by referring to AOC as a “little girl”, Rollins is clearly trying to demean and discredit the youngest woman ever elected to congress. Twitter was not having it and quickly came for the GOP strategist:

Republicans are clearly terrified by a self-possessed, confident woman of color. The GOP obsession with AOC only shows how sad and out of date the party is. Their fixation on Ocasio-Cortez can be perfectly summed up in the following exchange:
