The time has come and I still don’t feel ready for it. After Luke Perry’s untimely passing, we have to say goodbye to Fred Andrews on Riverdale. Perry embodied the father who cared so deeply for his son Archie in a beautiful way, and watching as this character’s arc comes to an end is going to be exceptionally hard.

But Robert Aguirre Sacasa, the showrunner of Riverdale, at least is letting us know that Fred Andrews remained true to himself until the very end.

It’s going to be a rough week for fans of Riverdale, and we’re going to miss seeing Luke Perry on our screens.
