The music created by composer John Williams for the Harry Potter films are among my all-time favorites. Hedwig’s Theme in particular always gives me happy thoughts. Here we have it played on a series of glasses. I don’t think this constitutes a glass harmonica (correct me if I’m wrong, music lovers) but I’m sure you’re familiar with the concept. Different glasses are filled with varying amounts of water to produce specific notes. I think the effect here is rather spectacular.
