And they say adolescence is awkward! Adulting and social media hilariously collide in Amy Huberman’s charming dramedy, Finding Joy. When Joy Morris became an unexpected internet sensation following a stint as a stand-in for a happiness vlogger, she decided to take a full plunge into social media mavenhood by setting up her own successful vlogging channel.
Needless to say, hijinks ensued as she found herself dealing with a team of her own for the first time, grappling with the exposure that comes with going viral, and healing from the break-up of her long-term romantic relationship.
Season 2 picks up where we left off, as “Joy 2.0” revels in her newfound confidence, while also juggling a new series of challenges brought on by her vlogging career, personal life—and the echoes of her past. With the help of her new tarot-reading roomie Christie, and bestie/new mom Trish, Joy learns that in order to find the joy she’s seeking, she must first reconnect with herself.
Series 2 of Finding Joy originally premiered on Acorn TV on January 11, 2021—but beginning April 6, 2021, you can now own it on DVD & Digital. Be sure to snag your copy today!
