It wasn’t too long ago we saw a hologram version of the late Queen singer Freddie Mercury perform at the London Olympics. That in and of itself rubbed me the wrong way but now Rovio, creators of Angry Birds, have turned the singer into one of their animated fowls. Yeah. This is strange. Take a look and see what you think. There is at least one good thing about it – it’s for a good cause. According to THR, “The video raises awareness for the special Freddie For A Day fundraising evening hosted by Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor at which, for the second year, friends and stars will gather at the Savoy in Freddie’s honor, to remember him and raise funds for the Mercury Phoenix Trust – Fighting Aids Worldwide.”
