This gentleman has taken the practice of suspension, where people are held off the ground by their piercings, to new heights. About 10,000 feet, to be exact. The stunt was organized as part of a film project called Feet Off the Ground which aims to highlight the suspension community in a non-sensationalist way. From an interview with Katuo.com:
“People inside this community are frequently misrepresented, with the media typically going for the shock value,” said Sean Devine, also a co-founder of Precarious Egg and one of the film’s producers.
Obviously, the best way to avoid shock value is film a guy suspended from a balloon, thousands of feet off the ground. And also release the footage in full HD which, incidentally, you can watch by clicking below.
