Watch out, criminals: Mireille Ballestrazzi, the first female president of Interpol, is on your case.

Ballestrazzi was elected the president of the international crime-fighting organization at a general assembly in Rome earlier today; the news was broken on the organization’s Twitter account. (Does anyone else find that kind of funny?)

It’s not surprising that Ballestrazzi was elected, given her qualifications: She became a police commissioner in France in 1975 and went on to become the director of the judicial police in Corsica in the 1990s, a time when organized crime on the island was running rampant. Before being elected its president she served as Interpol’s vice president representing Europe.

French interior minister Manuel Valls, who calls Ballestrazzi “one of the women who are the pride of the French police,” notes that her experience can serve her well when it comes to dealing with drug traffickers and mafias from Southern and Eastern Europe.

Are you thinking what I’m thinking? She’s like a French version of Judi Dench’s M from the last few James Bond films. Just look at her—she’s not taking any crap from anybody, least of all international criminal organizations that think they can mess with her turf.

Better think twice, Bond villains. Mireille Ballestrazzi is coming for you.
