You tend to get very accustomed to the sounds your phone makes. Sometimes you develop comforting memories of an old ringtone or grow to hate the sound you use for an alarm. YouTube user whitakerblackall decided to take things a step further by actually using his iPhone’s sounds to arrange a piece of music, and a really good one at that. All the sounds aren’t completely unaltered, he did some pitch shifting, cutting, transforming, and added some reverb, but considering he was only working with 3 sounds bites — email sent, email received, and that “do-do-dah” one — I think those are perfectly legitimate liberties to take. Give it a listen, you’ll be surprised how catchy it is.
