Besides keeping up with Iris Ophelia’s Downton Abbey/The Sims 3 experiment (catch up and read Part 8 here), I’ve mostly had the British series out of my mind. That’s mostly due to me being über annoyed with the Season 3 finale but that’s neither here nor there. The YouTube account for The Chris Matthews Show posted this video a while back which compares Downton with the White House. Something I never would have thought of before but that now makes perfect sense.

And if you need another Downton injection, might I suggest hitting the jump for an eye-opening experience?

Get it? Eye-opening. Cuz, googly eyes. I’m going to go watch Season 1 again…
