Sotheby’s auctioned off this hand crafted, fully posable gold skeleton with it’s own intricately carved, velvet lined coffin yesterday, and I’m just fascinated by the intersection of the craftsmanship with the tacky-by-modern-standards with the morbid. I want one. (The Awl)
