Possibly one of the most under-appreciated comics of all time is Hayao Miyazaki’s Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. Sure, the movie is pretty good, but Miyazaki’s manga is an enormous, sprawling epic that is full to the brim with religious conflict, environmentalism, and really, really cool vehicles. One of the most iconic is, without a doubt, the Valley Gusnship which Jon Hall has brilliantly created in LEGO form. He somehow managed to keep Miyazaki’s weirdly organic design, and create a model that looks surprisingly buildable. LEGO corporate, please make this a reality; please just take my money. See more pictures, after the break.
