Of course, this isn’t supposed to happen until exactly 6:00 PM Eastern Time (according to just one totally reliable source), so we’ll just have to wait and see. (At Reddit)

We got a tip bringing our attention to these really rad ’80s-inspired t-shirts. Designed in the style of iconic artist Patrick Nagel, you have your choice of Phoenix, Storm, Rogue, and Kitty Pryde, pictured below. (And yes indeed — these come in girl sizes.)

This was designed by Emily Jagoda, and it will make you want to pee in the shower less. Because that would just be rude in front of the droids. (At Neatorama)

Speaking of Star Wars, awesome news from Walt Disney World: The awesome motion simulation ride Star Tours (aka The Best Ride in Disney’s Hollywood Studios) is getting ready to reopen! Disney employees (referred to as “cast members”) were the first to ride the updated attraction. And now it come with a TSA-style checkpoint! Just what we’ve always wanted! The tourists are gonna love this.

The second room of the queue is now a security check area, similar to a TSA checkpoint. The two G-series droids are still there, G2-9T scanning luggage and G2-4T scanning passengers … While we won’t tell you why, you’ll enjoy paying a lot of attention to what the scans of the luggage show is inside. When it’s your turn to go through the passenger scan (a thermal body scan), you may be verbally accosted by a security droid. Also, keep an eye out in the queue for an earlier version of RX-24 (“Captain Rex”) from the original Star Tours; he’s labeled “defective” and has some familiar dialogue.

The good news: no groping. (At Boing Boing)

Collector’s Weekly (which actually updates daily) tells us why snake oil has gotten such a bad rap — because it’s actually good for you. Well, real snake oil is. (Full of Omega-3 fatty acids, more than fish.) It’s when people started selling fake snake oil that did not have the same benefits, and those guys came to be known as “snake oil salesmen.” So it would be wrong to call real snake oil the Shake Weight of its time.
