Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren Goes Undercover at Starkiller Base in SNL Sketch

I’ll admit that I was very much intrigued by how Adam Driver’s performance on Saturday Night Live was going to go down, especially after witnessing what a total goob he was in these promos for his episode with cast member Kate McKinnon.

Some of the sketches were a bit hit-or-miss, but SNL would’ve been remiss in letting the opportunity to spoof The Force Awakens slip through their fingers like star systems through Tarkin’s tightening grip.

Anyhoo, I was pleasantly surprised by how hilarious this bit was–especially after having marathoned several episodes of Undercover Boss. This sketch putting Driver’s Kylo Ren in the disguise of “Matt”, a radar technician on Starkiller Base, was all too brilliant–even if his employees begin to suspect his true identity. #UndercoverRen
