Sure, we’ve all speculated which actors would have played the Doctor if Doctor Who had been an American series all along and made incredibly detailed lists about why our picks would be better than everyone else’s (no? Just me?) But this video takes it a step further and actually compiles clips and quotes from actors to piece together an alternate universe in which it actually happened, and it is fantastic.
My personal favorites are Jeff Goldblum and Nic Cage in place of Eight and Nine, and I’d watch the crap out of old, cheesy Vincent Price Who stories. Of course, Harrison Ford is the perfect Hurt Doctor  War Doctor, but he neither needs nor wants my, or anyone’s, validation. And… that’s Danny Pudi as the Master, right? If it’s not, it should be. If I could just watch him battle it out with Donald Glover as the Doctor, I think my life would be complete.
Not to mention Gene Wilder… just turn down the volume a bit and pretend they’re saying “Doctor” instead of “Wonka” in this scene from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory and tell me you don’t wish that were reality.
