We’ve spotlighted a few of Amy Mebberson’s Pocket Princesses on the site before but we figured it was about time to give them their own post since it’s been brought to our attention the little gals have to go on hiatus for a while. If you’ve never seen them, you’re in for a treat. Hit the jump for some of our favorites!

If you’re not familiar with her work, Mebberson has done a lot of franchise comics like The Muppets for Boom Entertainment, Doctor Who for IDW, and Strawberry Shortcake for APE Entertainment. But she showcases a lot of fun stuff on her tumblr and had been putting up a new Pocket Princesses strip every Friday. She attached this note to her latest:

First of all, thank you EVERYONE who has enjoyed PP so far and taken time with notes and reblogs to tell me. It’s always very thrilling to know the art has given you a giggle. However, due to an increase in current work and deadlines that now threaten to swallow me whole , I’m afraid I have to put the girls away for a little while until I clear some stuff off my work slate. I hope to bring PP back to you all hopefully end of July, after I have completed a move to California and San Diego Comic Con is over. So I hope you’ll all stick around for my other Disney and comic art and lots of delicious convention sketches coming up in the weeks ahead.

While you wait for the adorable ladies to return, check out some of the best from the last few months.

See all the Pocket Princesses on Mebberson’s tumblr and visit her official site and DeviantArt page for more amazing work! And if you are going to HeroesCon or San Diego Comic-Con this year, make sure to find her table, she does gorgeous commissions and always has other delightful art for sale.
