Y’all like sports movies, right? No? What about comedy/sport movie co-starring and written by Amy freakin’ Poehler? She’ll be joined in writerly and actorly duties by Ike Barinholtz, who you’ll obviously remember from The Mindy Project.

The Hollywood Reporter says that the movie is centered around a down on her luck basketball coach (Poehler) who’s suddenly asked to coach an NBA basketball team. The thrust behind her taking that job (besides the whole down on her luck thing) is that the coach is aware of the fact that her taking on that job is a huge groundbreaking move on the part of the team. Of course, not everyone’s happy with this (because of course they aren’t), so that’s some nice bonus pressure on her to succeed.

Honestly? First reaction was that this totally sounds like what would happen if Leslie Knope were suddenly asked to coach an NBA basketball team. That sounds amazing, doesn’t it?
