Sure, some of the Angry Birds have already been in space, but starting March 22 they’re going to be launching a whole new campaign to settle once and for all the question of who is the best at space. Details are pretty sparse at the moment, but really there isn’t much that “Angry Birds Space” doesn’t say for itself. With Angry Birds having spun themselves out into so many different aspects of our Earthly culture, it’s only logical that they tackle the dark abyss.
Obviously there are going to be some new mechanics in the works here, probably ones that involve a certain lack of gravity. Less likely are mechanics that address the birds’ collective inability to swallow without said gravity, but a guy can hope, right?
Of course the other big factor here is who are the birds fighting? Pigs? Space-pigs? Alien-pigs? Maybe they’ll even have to team up with the pigs to fight off an even more dastardly foe, but I’m getting ahead of myself here. The bottom line is Angry Birds, in space. Enough said.
