Luckily for the Honest Trailers crew, while the ’90s X-Men cartoon was really great, it was also really ’90s, so there’s still plenty to lovingly poke fun at. Except for Jubilee. How dare you. I will defend Jubilee forever—probably because I grew up on this cartoon, and you know what? Their campaign to make Jubilee happen worked … on me, at least.

This really just makes me want more X-Men on TV, though—even if they can’t say “X-Men.” This trailer is decent prep for X-Men: Apocalypse later this week, though, especially considering its iffy reviews so far. Maybe the cartoon will add another “we did that better” to its list. You probably won’t be able to judge accurately, though, because after watching this, you won’t be able to get the theme song out of your head to actually hear the movie.

Sorry about that. (Not.)
