Anyone who’s watched even a handful of anime has probably noticed: There’s a food money shot in nearly every episode. Of course Tumblr even has a tag called anime food. Japanese food culture gets a lot of mileage out of beautifully arranged meals, snacks, and desserts, and, wow, does anime capitalize on that.
