Don’t you hate when you’re out socializing with fellow humans and you decide to check Twitter in the bathroom, only to discover that you missed some huuuge nerd news? Yeah, that’s how we all felt about ABC’s ‘Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe’ special. If you’re like us, check out some of the concept art for Age of Ultron that you missed.

First we have a delightful glimpse of the Hulk and Black Widow working side-by-side. Nice to know they’ve settled their differences.

It already looks like Natasha will be sporting a new hairstyle that may even be closer to her usual comic book style, so that’s exciting. If she ends up having bangs, I will float ten feet of the ground out of happiness. (Maybe I’m really preoccupied with fellow fringed redheads, okay? Don’t worry about it.)

Next we’ve got the Hulk vs the Hulkbuster. Aha! I knew there was a reason we were seeing it in Iron Man 3. I can’t wait for Bruce to find it in Tony’s stash and feel tremendous amounts of science bro betrayal.

We also got our first look at Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch! Personally I’m hoping this is a first encounter and that Wanda doesn’t wear that outfit in lieu of a costume, but the heavy gloves concern me. I don’t need the classic costume, just something that doesn’t look like an extra from Dawson’s Creek, okay?

Quicksilver, however, is great. Seriously, 100% better than that weird goggles and jacket get-up he was wearing on the X-Men: Days of Future Past Empire cover. — though I will admit to missing his white hair. Not from the cover, I mean. Just in general for the character.

And now for something completely different! Here’s Ant-Man.

He won’t be in Avengers 2, we’re guessing, but the costume itself seems pretty solid. Hard to imaging Paul Rudd under there, though.

There were also some images from the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy, but seeing as we’ve all watched the trailer several thousand times at this point, we’re pretty sure we know what Groot and Rocket look like already. What, not good enough for you? Well, you should have sat at home and watched television without talking to anybody like you were supposed to last night. That’s what we all get for having social lives and not existing at the beck and call of our Marvel overlords.
