The Avengers Extended Family Includes Whedonverse Favorites In This Fantastic Fan Mashup

Joss Whedon is one of the biggest names in nerd culture. The number of films and TV shows he’s been involved in is vast. So what better way to commemorate that than to combine some of his most iconic characters into one picture? Artist Stephen Byrne, the same person who made The Animated Adventures of Doctor Who from yesterday, has once again grabbed our attention. This stunning drawing depicts The Avengers as well as Mal from Firefly, Dr. Horrible from Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, and numerous other Whedonverse characters.
