I initially watched this trailer because I wasn’t aware that Tim Burton had a new movie coming out. Since watching it, I have fallen down an internet rabbit hole concerning artist Margaret Keane. Keane, it turns out, made quite the splash in the pop art scene of the 1960s, but her husband got the credit for her work. Burton’s film Big Eyes — his first biographical drama whoops, forgot about Ed Wood — tells her story. It’s one I’m intrigued to see on screen.
