Everybody and their grandmother complained that the iPhone’s screen didn’t get any bigger between the 5 and 5s when the latter was released. Well, you can all hakuna your collective matatas, friends. If these photos are any indication, your wish will soon be granted.
Discovered on the Chinese social network Weibo by the French website iPhonote, leaked images of what appears to be the upcoming iPhone 6’s frame alongside the current 5 show that the new phone is much, much larger than its predecessor:
The screen will reportedly clock in at 4.7 inches, which is the standard that most competing phone manufacturers are now going by for their larger screens. Other than that, the image pretty much looks like your standard iPhone, though we can’t confirm for sure if it’s an accurate depiction of what’s to come for Apple, of course.
Other rumors suggest that Apple will be announcing their new line of phones sometime later this year and will also possibly offer a 5.5-inch model in addition to the 4.7-inch one. Guess we’ll see if they’re right soon.
