Paul Feig Calls on Bill Murray for New Ghostbusters, He Answers “Yes!”

It’s official, as per a new story from the Hollywood Reporter: Dr. Peter Venkman will be in the new Ghostbusters movie.

Okay, so maybe not Peter Venkman, but we can only assume since Bill Murray has signed on to appear in the Paul Feig-directed flick. This makes him the second original Ghostbuster to commit to the film, with Dan Aykroyd being the first. Now we’re just waiting on Ernie Hudson and, well, we might be waiting on that one for a while.

That said, when are we gonna get news about an Annie Potts cameo? Someone’s gotta train that new receptionist, right?
