Want to help spread the good word about bow ties, science, and other things that rule? You’re in luck! A team of producers have launched a Kickstarter campaign aiming to fund a documentary about Bill Nye and his “quest to change the world.”
The movie will be directed by Bill Nye fans David Alvarado and Jason Sussberg (the team previously collaborated on the documentary The Immortalists, about two scientists making peace with their mortality).
According to the Kickstarter, Bill is on board, but the team still needs to meet their goal of $650,000 in order to travel with the Science Guy, license some of his television work, and hire a post-production team.
If you want to show Bill some love, the backer incentives range from giving the Science Guy a high five to having him come to your school and teach a class.
