It always gives me special warm fuzzies when a British person loves Hamilton. James Corden is going to be hosting this year’s Tony Awards on June 12th. To prepare, he did a very special Broadway edition of “Carpool Karaoke” on The Late, Late Show featuring some of Broadway’s biggest names. Yes, including that guy.

Joining Corden in the car is, of course, Lin-Manuel Miranda, along with Broadway legend, Audra McDonald, Modern Family‘s Jesse Tyler Ferguson who’s currently starring in Fully Committed, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt‘s Jane Krakowski, currently starring in She Loves Me. Watching these five geek out about Broadway showtunes was amazing!

But before the other three got into the car, Miranda and Corden blasted through some selections from Hamilton, and Cordon KILLED IT singing the Lafayette part on “Guns and Ships.” (I fall a little more in love with James Corden every day).

Once the rest of the gang gets in the car, however, it’s all about general love of Broadway. Their response to “Seasons of Love” from Rent is priceless. But the real thrill is all of them singing “One Day More” from Les Miserables at the end. EPIC. I was SO AMPED after listening to this!

Can’t wait for The Hamilton Show Tonys this year! Sunday, June 12th on CBS.
