Nintendo was careful in its selection of who should get to play the new Smash Bros. games before they’re released, and Conan was clearly the man for the job. He got his hands on the game last night as many Smash fans did, myself included (more on that later), and proved that a game can never be too accessible.

Side note: I believe it to be no coincidence that his gamer buddy Aaron Blair happens to be playing with a silver GameCube controller. Somebody has been around the Final Destination a few times. Did they also get a Wii U GameCube controller adapter to go with their personal demo? I spent most of my time fumbling with the unfamiliar pro controller, and I’m jealous.
