Japan really knows how to make a superhero feel welcome. As part of their Deadpool opening weekend antics, 20th Century Fox created a massive Deadpool statue to be toured around Japan for promotional purposes. Standing at 23 feet tall and lying down in a real “Burt Reynolds on a bear skin rug in front of a raging fire” pose. You know the one.

Aw yeah. That’s the stuff. If you want to take a photo with the massive statue, you should head on over to any of the Japan stops for this tour: Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo. C’mon, you know you want to. Make Ryan Reynolds Deadpool proud, eh?

What’s hilarious about this is that the statue’s being hauled around by an open air truck. So think about this the next time you’re driving: imagine you’re on your way to work listening to Juice Newton’s “Angel of the Morning,” then you look out your window to change lanes and there is a massive Deadpool head staring you right in the face. Yeah, forget the coffee. Got my morning pick-me-up right there.
