Well, that sounds … creepy. It’s not, really, it’s just Zach Snyder‘s way of making sure his script for Superman stays tightly under wraps. And star Diane Lane (who will be playing Superman’s Earthly mother Martha Kent) seems perfectly fine with it, and politely refuses to divulge any specifics about the story:

“I read the script under lock and key … I was locked in a room with the script and was only allowed three hours with it. I nailed it into my memory. I’m really excited. I’m really not allowed to talk much about it, I think, but it does cover the entire range of years, from infancy on.”

So, what about this whole hostage situation thing? Was she also strapped to a chair? Does Diane Lane have a photographic memory? Was there a quiz afterwards? … Seriously, can someone make a movie out of that?
