Rumor has it that Phil Tippett is involved in the new Star Wars. Specifically, rumors started by an unnamed source of MakingStarWars.net. It wouldn’t be entirely strange—though Tippett is working on Jurassic World, he began his career on Star Wars, famously putting his stop motion animation skills to use for the Millennium Falcon’s holographic chess game. But other than the tip from their source, evidence amounts to some casual twitter interactions between Tippett and J.J. Abrams.

Don’t do it, J.J.! We all know how poorly the dinosaurs were supervised in Jurassic Park!

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
