This Handmade Doctor Who Chess Set Features Many Ponds

Emmi Visser is back again with another glorious Doctor Who Chess set. This time, Matt Smith’s Doctor takes what was previously David Tennant’s Doctor’s place on the board. Weeping Angels return, this time as pawns, as do the TARDIS rooks.River Song reprises her role as the queen, but the majority of the other pieces have new, specific forms that correspond more with the Eleventh Doctor. The entire thing is for sale, though it costs $949. While it’s a bit steep, we have no doubts that it will soon be sold. The Doctor has many fans, and some are more rabid than others.
