As part of the Comic Relief charity’s Red Nose Day (a telethon), the Doctor Who team put together a two-part minisode, appropriately called Space and Time, penned by showrunner and fan favorite writer Steven Moffat, starring the current cast of Doctor Who, Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and Arthur Darvill. For a seven-and-a-half minisode that doesn’t have to do with anything, Moffat and the cast hit on all cylinders, creating a full and fun story, featuring Amy Pond’s (Gillan’s character) skirt endangering all of existence, along with two Amy Ponds flirting with each other. Aside from dual Ponds, the episode is the good fun one would expect: Rory is comic relief, Amy is the strong-willed-but-sexy female, and the Doctor is clever and saves the universe with some timey wimey heroics after the TARDIS materializes inside of it itself.
