The BBC has released a whole whack of photos for next Saturday’s episode of Doctor Who. “Dark Water” is the first ep in a two-part season finale, and will finally involve Missy (in a real way), the enigmatic woman we’ve been seeing in clips throughout Capaldi’s run as Doctor.

I’ve been pretty underwhelmed by this season as a whole – I think Capaldi is great, but I think he’s would be much better with a new showrunner and new companion. Too many of this season’s episodes have felt like the first draft of a script that could have been really good. Here’s hoping “Dark Water” sets up some good plot points that will lead to some resolution in the November 8th season finale, “Death in Heaven.”
