Double Fine‘s wildly, wildly successful Kickerstarter campaign to fund the Double Fine Adventure game is finally coming to a close with a total of somewhere around $3 million, a lot more than their modest $400,000 goal. Raising over $1 million in only 24 hours, Double Fine shattered Kickstarter records and brought all kinds of attention to gaming Kickstarters in general. Now, their funding-window is coming to a close and they’ll be celebrating its success and livestreaming said celebration during the Kickstarter’s final 2 hours, 6-8pm EDT. You may not be able to work for Double Fine, but you can definitely watch this livestream and pretend like you do. I know that’s my plan.
