Well, ladies and gentlemen history has been made! Not since 1992 has a Democrat won a Senate seat in Alabama, but tonight Doug Jones beat that miserable, hateful, underqualified asshole, Roy Moore.
What made the difference? Besides Roy Moore being the worst? Black. Voter. Turnout.
BLACK ALABAMA VOTERS JUST SAVED US. ESPECIALLY BLACK WOMEN – 97%! pic.twitter.com/2dAgoG05sN

Black women make up an est. 13.9 percent of Alabama’s population but in this exit poll, are approx. 18 percent of voters.
That’s 29.5% more than their proportion of the population.
Once again, black women voters are delivering for Democrats.#AlabamaSenateElection

Despite Moore having an early lead with rural voters once people began to pour in from Mobile, Montgomery, and Birmingham that is when Jones began to surge up to victory.
