Thanks to the folks at EA Games, there was no shortage of Star Wars gaming news at E3 this weekend. Respawn Entertainment CEO Vince Zampella announced that a new Star Wars game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, would be debuting at the end of 2019. “It takes place during the Dark Times when the Jedi are being hunted, So it’s gonna be spectacular.”
Fallen Order is set to take place between the events of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope, and centers on a “surviving Padawan”. The new third-person action-adventure game will be directed by God of War‘s Stig Asmussen, who said:
“I have been playing Star Wars games my whole life, now I get to make a Star Wars game. On top of that, I get to do it at Respawn, a studio comprised of the most talented collection of game makers, creators, visionaries, and (most importantly) advocates for the player, that I have had the good fortune to work with. And we, like you all, have no shortage of Star Wars passion.”
From @Respawn comes a brand-new action adventure game which tells an original @StarWars story around a surviving Padawan set shortly after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.

In addition to Fallen Order, EA made some new announcements for Star Wars Battlefront II. The game will be expanding with new content from the Clone Wars era, which will include characters like Obi-Wan Kenobi, General Grievous, Anakin Skywalker and Count Dooku. Players will travel to the planet Geonosis, which will be “the largest map ever built.”
"Your lightsabers will make a fine addition to my collection…"

And if that’s not enough Star Wars gaming news, EA dropped the trailer for the new Han Solo Season which now includes the Kessel mission, where players can pilot the Millennium Falcon with L3-37 as their co-pilot. What a time to be a nerd.
