Every so often, we get glimpses of what could have been, images that were conjured up during the making of a film that show a character or theme in the early stages of its construction. Usually, we don’t see these pics until after the fact—as is the case with these early concept images from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, featuring characters like Iron Man, Captain America and War Machine!
Ryan Meinerding, head of visual development for Marvel Studios, posted some photos to his Facebook of some artwork he created for several of the films in the MCU, including Captain America and the Iron Man trilogy.
