Khare won a $50,000 scholarship, up against 16,000 other contestants, and created a truly amazing technology.  Via the Raw Story, Khare’s invention is “small supercapacitor that can fit inside a cell phone battery and enable ultra-fast electricity transfer and storage.” Essentially, Khare has created a piece of technology that enables her to charge a cell phone in 20 to 30 seconds, and that is extremely portable.
