Terminator: Genisys was a flop in the United States, but its success in international markets has revived the possibility for more films in the franchise. However, there’s one person that won’t be on board if they happen: Emilia Clarke.
Word as to whether or not more Terminator movies was all over the place after Genisys did really well in China, but with Paramount pulling the sequel to Genisys from its schedule indefinitely, it really looked like it wasn’t happening. Well, in a recent interview with Coming Soon, Emilia Clarke — who really should’ve had a better opportunity to play Sarah Connor, because I firmly believe that Clarke in that role could’ve been amazing in the right movie — put the kabosh on the whole thing. When asked if she would play Sarah Connor again, she said, “No. Can I say that? It’s okay. No. Uh-uh. But I have some very different roles coming up.”
Yeesh.
Well, I guess she’ll just have to settle for being on one of the most popular shows on television or whatever. Must suck to be her, right?
