Kali Reis and Jodie Foster in 'True Detective: Night Country'

Here’s Everything Coming to Max in January 2024

Max has announced all the new movies and shows coming to the streaming platform in January 2024, and HBO’s True Detective: Night Country is at the top of our watchlist.

There are plenty of other notable titles joining the Max library in the new year, of course, including Bachelorette (written and directed by Russian Doll creator Leslye Headland), all the classic Star Trek movies, and A24’s low-key dystopian horror thriller It Comes at Night—one of many A24 titles coming to Max in the new year. But the new season of True Detective, which arrives on January 14 and stars Jodie Foster and Kali Reis, is easily the headliner. Catch a sneak peek in Max’s January preview:

Here’s everything else coming to Max—and leaving it—in January 2024, including all the TLC and HGTV and ID-branded trash your heart desires. We’ve also bolded our viewing recs for readers because this mountain of text can be overwhelming for your eyeballs.
