Hey, that’s a familiar face! It’s our own Jill Pantozzi, talking about the impact Batman has had on her life for Brett Culp’s documentary Legends of the Knight. A whole fifteen minutes of the very successfully kickstarted film will be shown at New York Comic Con next Saturday.

Says Culp of the screening: “After all of the support we have received over the past 2 years, we’re so excited to bring Legends of the Knight to NYCC. Can’t wait for everyone to experience the heroic message of this film very soon.”

The film will also be available on DVD in North America on November 18, 2014, for all the folks who won’t be able to make it to the con, and for those who can, here are the relevant details:

The Legends of the Knight screening will take place at New York Comic Con on Saturday, Oct 11 at 8:15pm in Room 1A14. The film’s distributor, Virgil Films, will be at Booth #337 with advance DVDs of the film and limited-edition t-shirts for sale!

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
