I’ll admit to not having much experience with the particular fandom (I won’t mention it specifically here, because I think the slow reveal is actually one of the movie’s strengths) this fan movie is based in, other than watching it a few times on Toonami while I was waiting for Batman: The Animated Series to come on. But anyone who’s willing to take it’s concept and crank the dial up to Battlestar Galactica levels of space opera realism gets my endorsement.

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
