Yesss: This Kickstarter is aiming to create an inclusive “feminist, LGBTQA positive, fresh take” on Sherlock Holmes that is “for women, by women.”

As they say in the video, “true mythology adapts and evolves.” This time around that includes Watson as a trans woman. I am so in. Also: They “intend to cast a male drag performer as Mr. Hudson,” and they’ve already cast a woman as Sherlock. Mycroft is now Myra Croft-Holmes, all the better to explore female relationships “both by blood (two sisters) and by water (two friends).” You can read more over at the official Kickstarter page.
