It’s easy to see why “Life’s Too Short” was cut from Frozen. It would have messed with the pacing of the film, not to mention how the prophecy the song mentions—that a ruler with a “frozen heart” would bring endless winter to Arendelle—didn’t make it to the final version. (Though leaving it in might’ve explained why everyone was so convinced Elsa’s winter was permanent approximately half an hour after she caused it.) All the same, it’s nice to see what Disney would have made of their Anna-Elsa duet. Skip ahead to :33 for the song, which is paired with original Disney storyboards.
