Looks like we will have more chocobos flooding our computer screens. According to the producer, Yoshinori Kitase, hopefully in the near future, the beloved Final Fantasy franchise will make it’s way to the PC and this is very exciting news for gamers. It appears that Square Enix is interested in bringing the series to computers, joining many other console games that have already made the transition to PC.
Although we do have a couple of MMO Final Fantasy games (XI and XIV), try to imagine the convenience and the beautifully rendered graphics of the RPG on your monitor, and not just because you’re looking at some HD YouTube trailer.
Unfortunately for PC users, the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy is only available for console, and so far, Final Fantasy XV was announced for only the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. However, if you want a taste of the Final Fantasy experience on your PC, FFVII and FFVIII are available for Steam download, just in case you didn’t know.
