Remember Galaxy Quest? Of course you do! It’s that amazing sci-fi parody starring Sigourney Weaver, Tim Allen, Alan Rickman, Sam Rockwell, and Tony Shalhoub. They play a group of actors from an old Star Trek-esque show who get abducted to actually go save an alien race. Yeah, that Galaxy Quest! Well, according to Entertainment Weekly, it could be a show real soon, as it’s currently in development over at Amazon.

Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on where they’re going with the show or who’s going to be in front of the camera. But the crew and masterminds behind the camera remain the same. The director, the co-writer, the producers, and executive producers are all on board, so we can be sure that the tone will remain incredibly similar if not the same.

Spitball pitch: what if the show they’re making was actually the old Galaxy Quest show? Woah.
