Mike Wrobel’s series of Game of Thrones characters as if they existed in the ’80s and ’90s will go down in the annals of history as one of mankind’s greatest achievements. “Yeah, the Mona Lisa, space travel, the collected works of William Shakespeare… look at football player Brienne, though!” So the fact that a group of Game of Thrones geeks actually cosplayed as Wrobel’s versions of the characters at this year’s and last year’s Dragon Con is just about enough to make me lose my damn mind. Theon holding a hot dog! The Terminodor shirt! Street fighter Oberyn Martell! White Walker in a tracksuit.
