Ghostbusters is turning 30 this weekend, and it got you a present! You can’t have it until August 29th, though, when the movie will be rereleased in 700 theaters as part of a 30th anniversary celebration.

That’s not all, either. Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II will cross streams for a 30th and 25th anniversary blu-ray release, which will include previously unreleased deleted scenes and recorded conversations with with Dan Aykroyd and director Ivan Reitman.

Rory Bruer, president of worldwide distribution at Sony, told Entertainment Weekly:

Ghostbusters is still one of our studio’s most beloved franchises. I was lucky enough to work on the release of the film on its first run, so it’s a real thrill for me to see that it’s still connecting with audiences everywhere. On the big screen or in home entertainment, this is a great movie to experience again and again.

The metaphorical 30th anniversary Twinkie just keeps getting bigger, too, so take a look at all the other Ghostbusters goodies on the brand new website. Who you gonna call? Everyone. Call everyone you know, and organize a trip to see one of the best film comedies in theaters, especially if you were too young the first time around.
