Here’s How Not to Celebrate the Anniversary of MLK’s Famous Speech, Courtesy of the Golf Channel

People choose to commemorate important events in different ways. Here at Geekosystem, we thought to honor the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech by wondering how far the original broadcast has since travelled into space. Over at the official Twitter for the Golf Channel, they had other… ideas. About golf.

The tweet has since been deleted, of course, because I suppose somebody sat down the person responsible for social media at the Golf Channe; and explained that the decades-long struggle for civil rights in America and the… joys of golf?… are not the same thing. Like, at all.
