Game of Thrones Book Spoiler Open Thread: The Wars To Come

Watched last night’s new episode of Game of Thrones but haven’t read the novels? Turn back, this is not the post for you. Read ahead for book spoilers, or turn back to the episode recap for spoiler-free comments.

It’s almost certain at this point that Jeyne Poole is going to get HBO’d into Sansa Stark this season, left on the pages of GRRM’s book forever – and same with that bit of the prophecy where Cersei is going to be strangled to death. Also, I have to say I’m more excited than usual for the coming seasons of GOT – this is the point in the books where things started to go off the rails for me, and I think it will all make a whole lot more sense visually than it did when I was reading it.
